Promotional Marketing Exhibition: Good results
UK – The third edition of the Promotional Marketing Exhibition, staged in London from April 15-17, 2008, closed its doors on a successful note: According to the official figures of the organisers 2,341 visitors attended the event held in the National Hall of the Olympia Exhibition Centre in the British capital. This corresponds approximately to a 10% increase compared to the previous year. The trade show addresses industry customers from the marketing sector.

ASI announces record 19.6 billion Dollar turnover in the US market
USA – The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI), by own accounts the largest media and marketing organization serving the US advertising specialty industry, announced the results of its annual advertising specialties sales analysis indicating that industry revenues reached 19.6 billion Dollars in 2007 – up 5.4% from 2006 and a new record.

PromZ Event: Lively and colourful
NL – As usual the PromZ Event in Utrecht, the Netherlands presented itself from April 8-10, in a professional light. The show, that addresses industry customers, was organised by the trade publishing house, Het Portaal Uitgevers, which among others publishes the end customer magazine, “PromZ”. As such a high share of the 183 exhibitors were Dutch promotional products distributors. But also specialised manufacturers and suppliers exhibited at the PromZ Event.

UK Survey: What’s in your car?
UK – For the third time already the British promotional products association, BPMA, carried out in collaboration with the market research institute Source-e a survey on the theme of promotional products: After “What’s on your desk?” and “What’s in your bag?”, the question posed was “What’s in your car?“. The survey was carried out in March 2008.
