D – During its General Meeting on January 12, 2010, the bwg – the German Association of Promotional Products Advisers and Distributors e.V. – held its elections for its new Executive Board after the Board’s regular term of office had expired.

According to own accounts, Hans-Joachim Evers and Dietmar Mundt were running for office for the last time, further candidates were once again Joachim Schulz and Carsten Lenz for the Advisory Committee. From the audience Angelika Kessler (2 Creative) also agreed to become a candidate for the Advisory Committee. All candidates were elected for the next two years without any dissenting votes. Rüdiger Treutler, who has been an honorary member of the bwg Board for 14 years stepped down and didn’t run for office again. He thanked everyone for the trust placed in him and he received a hearty applause from the members.
